Mentoring

We need YOU to be a mentor!

 

Through  the IMAGES (Imparting Motivation Achieving Goals Expecting Success) mentoring program, mentors have the opportunity to work with youth one-on-one and in group settings; to help provide ongoing support and encouragement.​

There are no special skills required to take advantage of the opportunity to mentor, only the willingness to encourage and support your mentee and serve as a positive role model and friend

IMAGES is seeking adult mentors to meet the needs of our clients.

To become a mentor, a volunteer must be at least 18 years old. Mentors are required to complete an application, and participate in volunteer and mentor training.

In order to be a mentor, you must be:

At least 18 years old

Dependable and consistent in meeting time commitments

Attend an orientation and training sessions

We ask that our mentors volunteer for at least 4 hours each month and commit to a year of service. Mentoring takes place during our regular program hours. Mentors and youth will be matched according to shared interests and age or geographic preferences.
